Warranty Terms

Expert Meble in Szczecin guarantees the highest quality of services provided and the proper functioning of custom-made furniture. In the event of any defect, Expert Meble commits to providing warranty services for a period of 24 months from the date of signing the contract, provided that the customer follows the furniture usage guidelines and uses the furniture for its intended purpose.

  1. The warranty is valid within the territory of the Republic of Poland.
  2. Warranty claims should be reported to the order recipient.
  3. When making a warranty claim, the customer must present proof of purchase and a signed warranty card.
  4. The complaint should be submitted electronically or in writing and must include a detailed description of the defect.
  5. The customer will be notified of the positive resolution of the complaint within 14 days from the date of submission.
  6. Repair of defects reported through a complaint will occur within 30 working days from the resolution of the complaint, provided the defect can be resolved without factory repair or by replacing parts that do not require sending to the manufacturer.
  7. If the defect subject to the complaint is deemed repairable by the order recipient, the warranty service will be fulfilled through repair.
  8. If the resolution of a warranty claim requires additional verification of the complaint, ordering new materials, or sending parts to the manufacturer, the time required to address the defect may be extended.
  9. The time required to process a warranty claim may be extended in the event of a shortage of materials.
  10. The customer loses the warranty rights if they do not report the defect to the order recipient within 14 days of its occurrence.
  11. Visible defects, such as mechanical damage or color mismatches in kitchen elements, must be reported by the customer within 3 days of the order completion date. Failure to report such defects within this timeframe will be considered as acceptance of the delivered furniture's condition.
  12. If access for inspection by the order recipient is denied twice, it will be considered that the customer has waived all warranty claims.
  13. If the buyer prevents the repair of repairable defects, it will be considered that they have waived their warranty rights.
  14. The warranty does not cover quality differences or visible defects (scratches, abrasions, cracks, deformations) that should have been reported on the day of furniture delivery and were not reported within 3 days of the delivery date.
  15. Invisible and minor defects that do not affect the use of the kitchen are not covered by warranty claims.
  16. If the warranty card and proof of purchase are lost, the buyer forfeits their warranty rights.
  17. Defects not covered by the warranty will be repaired at a cost.
  18. The warranty does not cover:
  • Effects of improper cleaning attempts
  • Contaminations
  • Damage caused by pets
  • Mechanical damage resulting from improper use of furniture
  • Damage resulting from the transport of furniture by the Customer
  • Unintentional differences in the shade of panels or differences in texture and color of wooden or wood-like elements by the manufacturer
  • Any client expectations regarding quality or scope of the contract that deviate from the standard accepted by the Contractor
  • Complaints caused by the Customer's incorrect perception of the furniture, if the order was fulfilled based on a design or prior agreements
  • Damage resulting from the use of furniture and devices in a manner inconsistent with the manufacturers' recommendations
  • Damage resulting from improper installation of household appliances (in the case of self-installation)
  • Discoloration of fronts or surfaces due to prolonged and direct exposure to sunlight
  • Damage resulting from prolonged contact with water
  • Damage resulting from lack of maintenance or maintenance not in accordance with furniture care guidelines
  • Defects and damage that resulted in a reduction in the price of the furniture
  • Defects and damage resulting from prolonged exposure to low temperatures (below +15 °C) or prolonged exposure to high temperatures (above +30 °C)
  • Damage resulting from contact with fire, a heated object, or a fire
  • Damage resulting from excessive overload
  • Damage resulting from self-demolition and reassembly by the Orderer
  • Changes occurring naturally as a result of furniture use
  • Damage resulting from acts of vandalism

 

Terms and conditions for using furniture:

  1. Furniture should be used according to its intended purpose
  2. Furniture should be used in rooms with relative humidity between 30% and 70%.
  3. Furniture should be protected from the negative effects of:
    - Prolonged exposure to temperatures below +15 °C or above +30 °C
    - Continuous exposure to water
    - Direct exposure to sunlight
  4. Furniture should be protected from direct contact with heated dishes, alcohol, and other chemicals that may damage their surface.
  5. Electrical equipment and connections should not be exposed to water.
  6. Furniture should be regularly maintained and cleaned with appropriate products.
  7. In case of spillage, furniture should be wiped dry to prevent swelling or damage to the surface.
  8. Furniture should not be overloaded in a way that may cause mechanical damage.
  9. Furniture may function differently under heavier loads, which could require readjustment of certain elements. Upon the client's request, installers can explain how to make such adjustments during the order fulfillment.
  10. All fronts or drawers with soft-closing mechanisms require the application of properly balanced force for opening and closing. Excessive slamming of cabinets may damage these mechanisms.
  11. The dishwasher should be opened approximately 10-15 minutes after the end of the wash cycle to avoid damaging the furniture with hot steam.
  12. When cooking, the kitchen hood should be turned on to prevent damage to the furniture from hot steam.
  13. Appliances should be used according to the operating instructions provided by the manufacturer.
  14. Do not lean on drawers, furniture fronts, pull-out trays, or rails.

 

Cleaning and maintenance guidelines for furniture:

  1. Furniture should be cleaned with a dry or slightly damp cloth, and then the cleaned surfaces should be dried.
  2. Wooden and veneered furniture is made from natural materials, featuring varied shades, grain patterns, colors, and knots, as well as medullary rays, depending on the conditions of the tree from which they were sourced. The color of solid wood and natural veneer surfaces changes over time due to exposure to light. To best preserve the natural appearance of the wood, furniture should be oiled two to three times a year, or more frequently if needed.
  3. Glossy lacquered elements should be cleaned with glass cleaners that do not contain alcohol or solvents.
  4. Cleaning agents can be used on lacquered or acrylic surfaces, provided they are first tested on inconspicuous areas of the finish.
