Cleaning and maintenance guidelines for furniture:
- Furniture should be cleaned with a dry or slightly damp cloth, and then the cleaned surfaces should be dried.
- Wooden and veneered furniture is made from natural materials, featuring varied shades, grain patterns, colors, and knots, as well as medullary rays, depending on the conditions of the tree from which they were sourced. The color of solid wood and natural veneer surfaces changes over time due to exposure to light. To best preserve the natural appearance of the wood, furniture should be oiled two to three times a year, or more frequently if needed.
- Glossy lacquered elements should be cleaned with glass cleaners that do not contain alcohol or solvents.
- Cleaning agents can be used on lacquered or acrylic surfaces, provided they are first tested on inconspicuous areas of the finish.
